ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (9-4, 2-0)
Louisiana Tech held off a second-half rally by New Mexico State to pick up the fourth consecutive win 67-58 on Saturday afternoon. Robyn Lee and Jordan Marshall led the Lady Techsters with 15 points apiece. Marshall chipped in nine rebounds. Paris Bradley (12) and Jianna Morris (11) also had double figures points. Bradley led LA Tech with four assists and five steals. Isla Airey added three blocks, her second game with three blocks and her 10th with multiple.

After three outstanding performances, Bradley earned her second consecutive Conference USA Freshman of the Week honor. The 5-9 guard scored 27 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out 16 assists, and recorded 10 steals over the week. Bradley closed out 2024 with eight points, five assists, and five steals against LSU Alexandria. She started conference play with seven points and seven assists against UTEP before scoring 12 points with four assists and five steals against New Mexico State. Against the Miners, she became the fourth Lady Techster to score 100 points on the season.

Morris is having an outstanding stretch over the past six games. The sophomore point guard has scored 62 points, dished out 19 assists, and committed just one turnover in that span. She continues to get to the free throw line at a high rate, with 86 attempts on the season, ranking 35th in the country.

Lee has four straight games scoring 15 or more points, including a 20-point and 10 rebound performance against LSUA. The grad student is shooting 56.6 percent over the last four games, and her 47.4 percent on the year ranks fourth in the league and 31st in the country.

Marshall continues to be one of the top freshmen in the nation. The 6-0 forward became just the second freshman to score 150 points and grab 100 rebounds this season. She is the top freshman with 8.6 rebounds a game and ranks third with 112 on the season, just six behind the top freshman with two fewer games.

ABOUT FIU (5-8, 1-1)
FIU split with Middle Tennessee and WKU to open the season. The Panthers fell 69-38 to MTSU before holding off a late rally by the Hilltoppers to win 80-79.

The Panthers have been without CUSA Preseason Player of the Year Mya Kone since the first game of the year and have struggled to take care of the ball. Their 25.4 turnovers per game are the second most in the country, but they turn their opponents over 22.3 times per game.

Paris Atkins has stepped up to be the leading scorer for FIU this season. The transfer guard averages 14.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.0 steals a game. She has scored in double figures in all but two games this season, with two more than 20. Her 3.0 steals a game is one of the top marks in the country at No. 17.

Angena Belloso has seen her production rise in her second season in Miami. The junior averages 10.4 points a game and is coming off a 23-point performance against WKU. She is also a threat on the defensive side of the court, with 1.83 steals a contest.

The other FIU player averaging in double figures is Iowa State transfer Isnelle Natabou at 10.1.
