RUSTON | Louisiana Tech University will celebrate a century of Homecoming tradition this fall, marking its 100th Homecoming with a spirited week of events October 28 through November 1. The milestone celebration will feature community favorites, student showcases, and Bulldog pride — all leading up to a Halloween night football showdown on Origin Bank Field at Joe Aillet Stadium.
Tuesday, October 28 – NPHC Unity Step Show
Homecoming Week kicks off Tuesday evening with the NPHC Unity Step Show in the Thomas Assembly Center, spotlighting Louisiana Tech's National Pan-Hellenic Council fraternities and sororities as they compete in high-energy step performances. The event will also include a special appearance by the Regal Blues dance team.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in the LA Tech Student Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $3 for Greek members and $5 for all other students and the general public.
Thursday, October 30 – Parade, Pep Rally, and Tech-R-Treat/Tech Madness
Thursday night will be filled with spirit, family fun, and Bulldog energy.
- The Homecoming Parade will roll through campus and end at the Thomas Assembly Center, beginning at 6 p.m. (See parade route map below.)
- Immediately following, the Homecoming Pep Rally will take place on the steps of the Thomas Assembly Center at 6:30 p.m., featuring performances by the Band of Pride, appearances by guest speakers, and the introduction of the Homecoming Court, along with the Bulldog and Lady Techsters basketball teams. The pep rally will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show.
- At 7 p.m., fans are invited to enjoy the second annual Tech-R-Treat and Tech Madness in Bulldog Village and the Argent Pavilion — a joint celebration hosted by Louisiana Tech Athletics and the Union Board. The event will feature trunk-or-treating, games, food for sale, and a haunted maze in Hideaway Park. During Tech Madness, fans can also meet and get autographs from Bulldog and Lady Techsters basketball players.
Those attending the pep rally and Tech-R-Treat are asked to enter via Tech Drive, turning down Stadium Drive, and park in the Red Lot behind the softball field.
Friday, October 31 – Bradshaw-Brooks, Volleyball, and Halloween Homecoming Game
Friday's festivities begin bright and early with the Bradshaw-Brooks Golf Tournament, presented by Origin Bank, at Squire Creek Country Club, teeing off at 8 a.m. Fans can learn more about the tournament and ways to get involved

The Bulldog Volleyball team will host New Mexico State for Senior Day at 2 p.m. inside the Thomas Assembly Center, with the match streaming live on ESPN+.
That evening, Louisiana Tech celebrates its 100th Homecoming Game as the Bulldogs face Sam Houston under the lights on Halloween night, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. on Origin Bank Field at Joe Aillet Stadium. The game will air nationally on CBS Sports Network.

Saturday, November 1 – Volleyball and Hall of Fame Induction
The weekend continues Saturday as Bulldog Volleyball takes on New Mexico State once again, this time at 1 p.m. inside Memorial Gym.
Homecoming festivities conclude Saturday evening with the Louisiana Tech Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony inside the Thomas Assembly Center, honoring the newest class of Bulldog greats. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and the program begins at 6 p.m.
