The Lady Techsters are coming off a narrow defeat against in-state foe ULM. LA Tech took an early lead behind
Averi Aaron's three-pointer on the first Louisiana Tech possession, but the Warhawks would answer quick, tying the game at 5. Both teams traded runs all game with eight lead changes and three ties, but the Lady Techsters fought back in the third quarter to take a short lead, 49-50 with 54 seconds left behind a
Paris Bradley corner three. ULM would close the quarter with a basket to take the lead and never gave it back, stretching the margin as many as 13 points. The Warhawks paced the Lady Techsters in points from turnovers, points from the paint, points from fast breaks, and points from the bench.

Alexia Weaver led LA Tech with 16 points while
Jordan Marshall shared the team lead in rebounds with
Joy Madison-Key 7 apiece.
Paris Bradley set a season high for the Lady Techsters with 4 assists.
Hillary Dawson scored her first collegiate points, ending the night with three.
Jianna Morris drew two charges, raising her team high total to four on the season.

Marshall has recorded six or more rebounds in 29 of her 36 career games, including both games this season. The Little Rock native is averaging 6.5 per contest.

ABOUT LOUISIANA CHRISTIAN (1-3)
Louisiana Christian is coming off their first victory of the season against Central Baptist. The Wildcats were down early in the first quarter, but clawed back to tie the game going into the second half. Louisiana Christian would start a 15-4 run in the third quarter to gain a decisive lead, closing the quarter 67-57. Kylei Leblanc would put up a lay-up with just under eight minutes remaining to give the Wildcats a double-digit lead they would never relinquish.

Leblanc picked up her third double-double of the season, scoring a team high 27 points and grabbing 11 boards.
Carlea Owens was not far behind with 22 points, her second 20 point game of the season.

Jakiya Thompson paced the bench with 19 points and three deep shots.
