ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (2-2)
The Lady Techsters are coming off a second straight strong defensive showing. LA Tech defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 73-49, the second game in a row of allowing less than 50 points. After holding a narrow 44-40 lead entering the fourth, the Lady Techsters offense roared, scoring 29 points in the quarter. Jianna Morris led the way with 17 points and five three pointers, tying a season and career high. The Lady Techsters shot a near perfect 11-12 from the field in the frame while only allowing nine points on defense.
 
Paris Bradley scored in double-figures for the fourth time in a row this season, extending that streak to six dating back to last season. Bradley also leads the team in assists (15) and steals (nine).
 
Jordan Marshall continues to be a force on the glass. Marshall has grabbed at least six boards in every game this season and in 31 of her 38 career games. Her eight boards against the Lady Lions led the team, the fourth time she has this season.
 
Jianna Morris has been dangerous from deep. Morris made five three pointers last outing, the second time she has hit that mark this season. The five-foot-seven guard was a perfect 3-3 from deep in the fourth quarter against UAPB, leading the Lady Techsters in scoring with 17 points. She leads the team with 13 three pointers on the season.

ABOUT STEPHEN F. AUSTIN (4-0)
The Ladyjacks are coming off a four-game win streak, all at home in Nacogdoches. SFA narrowly defeated Houston 82-78 Monday night behind Myka Perry's second 20-point performance of the season. Harmanie Dominguez recorded a double-double to help the Ladyjacks maintain their 12-home game winning streak. The Ladyjacks outscored Houston in every quarter except the first.
 
Myka Perry leads Stephen F. Austin with 16.2 points per game and 2.3 steals per game. The Ladyjacks are averaging 80 points per game on 45 percent field goal shooting.

THE SERIES
This marks the 37th meeting between these two programs. Louisiana Tech holds a 28-8 lead over Stephen F. Austin, including an impressive 17 game win streak from 1980-90. The Ladyjacks have won the last two matchups, including a 70-56 victory over the Lady Techsters last year in Nacogdoches. Jordan Marshall led LA Tech with 16 points and 14 rebounds, followed by Paris Bradley's 13 points.

Louisiana Tech and Stephen F. Austin have two of the winningest women's basketball programs in the country, combining for 2,464 wins in their history.
