ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (3-2)
The Lady Techsters are fresh off a resounding 93-66 victory over the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks Sunday afternoon, a game in which all five starters scored in double-figures. Paris Bradley led the team in scoring for the first time this season with 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Jordan Marshall secured her second double-double of the year with 17 points and 13 rebounds. The Lady Techsters defense held the previously undefeated SFA offense to their lowest points (66), field goals (25), 3-pointers (5), rebounds (23), and assists (14) of the season in the 27-point win.

LA Tech's offense has been hot to start the year. Through five games, the Lady Techsters are 19th in the country with 86 points per game, leading Conference USA. Louisiana Tech also leads CUSA in field goals made (165), 3-pointers made (41), assists (90), assists/turnover ratio (1.14), and scoring margin (plus-23.6).

This is thanks in part to the offensive showcase Paris Bradley has displayed. Bradley has scored in double-figures every game this season, including an active seven game streak dating back to last season. Her team high 76 points is third in Conference USA and her 10 deep shots are tied for third. She is tied second in the league in assists with twenty and her 1.7 assist/turnover ratio is tied for second.

Jordan Marshall has been making a statement in the paint this season. Marshall is second in the country in offensive rebounds per game with 5.6 and her 10.4 rebounds per game are 25th. She is fourth in Conference USA with 74 points and second in double-doubles with two. Marshall has secured at least six rebounds in every game this year and 32 times in her career.

Jianna Morris marksmanship has been on full display. Morris leads Conference USA with 16 three pointers, including a 3-3 fourth quarter against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. She has scored five three pointers twice this season and has led the Lady Techsters in scoring once.

ABOUT #15 BAYLOR (5-1)
Baylor is wrapping up the WBCA Showcase in Orlando this past week. The Bears dropped their first game of the season against #19 Iowa 57-52, despite an impressive 32 points from Taliah Scott. Baylor left Orlando with an overtime victory against Davidson with a driving layup from Auburn transfer Yuting Deng with three seconds left.

Taliah's performance secured her Big 12 Starting Five honors, combining for 54 points across both games. Her 25.3 points per game ranks fifth in the country and her 46 free throws is just one behind the nation's leader.

THE SERIES
Louisiana Tech holds a 4-3 series lead over Baylor. The Lady Techsters won four games straight after losing the opening matchup, 84-78, in the AIAW Region 4 Tournament in Monroe, Louisiana. Baylor claimed the most recent meeting with a 98-54 win in Waco last season. Paris Bradley led the way with 15 points, followed closely by Jordan Marshall with 14 points and seven rebounds.
