Head coach
Brooke Stoehr enters her 10
th year at the helm of the Lady Techsters, the longest tenured active head coach at Louisiana Tech. With only four letterwinners returning and nine newcomers, she was able to general an 18-win campaign, capped off with a narrow defeat in the Great 8 of the WNIT. This year the Lady Techsters return 71 percent of its scoring and 59 percent of its rebounding, as well as four starters from last year.

One of those returners is
Paris Bradley who had a freshman season for the ages. Last season, the guard from Carrollton, Texas was named Conference USA Freshman of the Year and First Team All-CUSA. Bradley led the league's freshmen in scoring, FG percentage, FT percentage, and assists. She enters the 2025-26 season as the Preseason CUSA Player of the Year and a member of the Preseason All-Conference Team.

Another standout sophomore on Stoehr's squad is
Jordan Marshall, who was also named to the Preseason All-Conference Team. Marshall was only behind Bradley among freshmen with 11.5 points a contest, however, was third in the nation among freshmen with 8.6 boards per game. Her CUSA All-Freshman season would see 11 double-doubles -- ranking second in the nation for freshman.Â

Other notable returners including sophomore forward
Isla Airey, the top shot blocker from the previous season. Her 61 blocks ranked 34
th in the country and her seven rejections against Lindenwood was the fourth most in program history. Junior guard
Jianna Morris also returns, having started all 64 games of her collegiate career. Morris led the Lady Techsters in three-point shooting, knocking down 52 triples.
Averi Aaron finished strong to end the season after missing the first six weeks due to injury, scoring in double figures in back-to-back games in the conference tournament, including a team-high 16 points against Liberty. The lone senior
Mackenzie Wurm also returns after missing all last season with an injury. She has appeared in 74 games in her three active seasons.

The Lady Techsters welcome six newcomers this season. Junior teammates
Alexia Weaver and
Kaleigh Thompson arrive to Ruston from Three Rivers College after two successful campaigns, combining for 1,368 points, 594 rebounds, and 195 assists during their time for the Lady Raiders.
Joy Madison-Key and
Kennedy Evans round out the transfers for Louisiana Tech, coming from Tulane and Oklahoma State, respectively. The two freshmen on the team consist of
Jayden Terry and
Hillary Dawson.

The Lady Techsters enter the 2025–26 season with more experience. Last year, freshmen accounted for 3,385 minutes—nearly half of the team's total.Â

ABOUT ARKANSAS (0-0)
The Razorbacks warmed up for the season with an exhibition win over UA-Fort Smith, with six players scoring in double figures and leading by as many as 59 points.

Arkansas is piloted by first-year head coach Kelsi Musick, who took over the helm on March 21, 2025. She was hired following a successful three-year stint at Oral Roberts, leading the Golden Eagles to postseason appearances in each of the last two years. Musick improved her win total every year as head coach, including a record 24 wins in her 2024-25 campaign, the most in a season since 1982-83. The Golden Eagles averaged 82.9 points per game her final season, the eighth most in the country.

A key departure in the Razorback rotation is Izzy Higginbottom. The graduate senior scored an outstanding 24.4 points per game, the second most in the country. Her 242 free throws were first in the country and set an Arkansas record. Overall, the Razorbacks lost 80 percent of their scoring from last season, including its top four scorers.

A notable returner for the Arkansas is 6-foot-3 forward. Jenna Lawrence, leading the team in blocks and finishing second in boards last season. The Arkansas native was also third in minutes with 20 starts.

Arkansas finished 2024-25 with a 10-22 record, including a 3-14 record in SEC play. The roster consists of five returners and eight newcomers.

Tuesday will mark the sixth meeting between the Lady Techsters and the Razorbacks, with LA Tech leading three games to two.
