ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (6-4)
The Lady Techsters are coming off their ninth straight home victory and have had the best start at the TAC since the 2005-06 season, winning six to start the year. Both teams struggled offensively in the first half, only putting up a combined 52 points, the second lowest mark of the season. Louisiana Tech faced a 27-25 deficit, its first time trailing at home at the half.
Jianna Morris helped sparked a 26 point Lady Techsters third quarter, scoring eight points and dishing three assists to give LA Tech a 51-41 lead heading into the final 10 minutes. Free throws in the fourth quarter kept the lead safe with the Lady Techsters shooting 13-14 from the line.
Â
Paris Bradley led the Lady Techsters with 16 points, shooting 12-17 from the free throw line. Seventeen free throws are the most by a Conference USA player this year and the most by a Lady Techster since
Jianna Morris had 16 against New Mexico State on January 4
th, 2025.
Jordan Marshall also shared the lead with 16 points, while also grabbing a team high 10 rebounds to secure her fourth double-double of the year. Marshall has led LA Tech in rebounding eight times this season and has grabbed at least five in every game.
Jianna Morris made four threes in the contest, extending her streak of making a triple to 16 straight games.
Â
Since entering December, Louisiana Tech have made it an effort to get to the free throw line. The Lady Techsters have shot 104 free throws in their last four games, five more than they did all of November (six games). Of those 104, 76 were made, good for 73.1 percent, which would lead all of Conference USA. The Lady Techsters are currently fourth in free throw percentage over the season, shooting 71.9 percent as a team.
Â
Jordan Marshall earned her fourth double double of the season against Central Arkansas, the second most in Conference USA. Marshall's 5 offensive rebounds per game ranks third in the country and leads all sophomores nationwide. The Little Rock native has grabbed at least three offensive boards in nine games this season.

ABOUT CENTRAL BAPTIST (4-6)
The Lady Mustangs overcame a 12 point deficit late in the third quarter to defend home court against the Harris-Stowe State Hornets. Central Baptist started hot, running out to a 15-4 lead at the first media timeout, ultimately leading at the end of the first and second quarter. The Hornets fought back, racing to a 62-50 lead with 1:50 left in the third quarter. The Lady Mustangs slowly chipped away from there, only trailing by one late in the fourth. A jump shot and free throws would seal the game for CBC, winning 86-82.
Â
Cammi Christie and Raigan Head both led the Lady Mustangs with 20 apiece. Head would notch a double-double in the match, adding 14 rebounds for Central Baptist.
Â
Raigan Head leads the Lady Mustangs with 17.1 points per game, shooting 47.6 percent from the field. The junior guard also leads in rebounds with 9.0 per game while Riley Whittington leads the team with 5.3 assists per game.
