ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (13-12, 6-8)
On Thursday, Louisiana Tech dropped a defensive battle against Middle Tennessee 55-46. Jordan Marshall led the way with a near double-double at 14 points and nine rebounds. Robyn Lee wasn't far behind with 12 points and seven boards.

Marshall continues to be one of the top freshmen in Conference USA and the country. The forward ranks fifth among freshmen with 207 rebounds and third with 8.3 boards a game. Marshall has 16 games with double-figure scoring and eight games of 10 or more rebounds. Her seven double-doubles are the most by a Lady Techster since the 2021-22 season.

Lee became the 45th Lady Techster to reach 1,000 points against Jacksonville State. The grad student has seen her production increase this season with a four-point increase in points per game. She is shooting 45.6 percent on the year. Lee has a career-best 47 assists and 32 steals on the season.

One of the best rim protectors in the country, Isla Airey, had her second game of five blocks. The Australian ranks No. 52 in the country with 43 blocks and has the sixth most blocks by a Lady Techster freshman. Airey has 13 games with multiple blocks during her freshman campaign.

ABOUT WKU (18-7, 9-4)
WKU picked up a 57-45 win against Sam Houston on Thursday. Josie Gilvin had a double-double to lead the Lady Toppers with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

For the season, Gilvin has four games of 20+ points, increasing her average by seven points. The junior guard is averaging 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds a game.

The Lady Toppers are one of the top teams in the country in terms of assists. WKU averages 15.8 assists a game and has a 1.09 assists-to-turnover ratio. Senior guard Alexis Mead is a big reason for that.

Mead ranks third in CUSA with 3.9 assists per game and 97 total assists while ranking first with a 1.52 assists-to-turnover ratio. She leads the team with 13.2 points and 2.4 steals a game.

Destiny Salary and Acacia Hayes are significant contributors for WKU. Salary is second on the team with 12.1 points, and Hayes is right behind at 11.7. The grad student and junior give the Lady Toppers veteran leadership at all five starting positions.
