RUSTON – After a month off from competition, Louisiana Tech will be back on the course Monday and Tuesday as the Bulldogs take part in the 40th annual Louisiana Classics.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech last played in the Hal Williams Collegiate in Mobile, Alabama, coming in 12th as a team.  The Bulldogs have four events remaining in the regular season, starting with the Louisiana Classics in which they will be participating in for the fourth straight year.
 
Niilo Maki-Petaja, currently ranked No. 252 in the country, headlines the Bulldogs lineup.  The sophomore has a team-best stroke average of 70.38 with 15 rounds at or under par and four top-20 finishes. 
 
Freshman Freddie Surgey is also in the lineup, coming off a 36th-place spot on the individual leaderboard at the Hal Williams Collegiate which tied for his best finish this season.  The top Bulldog at that event was Riley Hnatyshyn who tied for 28th after shooting 71-69-72=212 (-1), a career-best finish for the junior.
 
Sophomore Oskari Schuvalow will be playing in his eighth event of the season with a stroke average of 73.81.  Freshman Morton Bailey rounds out the team roster with a stroke average of 73.11.
 
Playing as an individual for LA Tech will be freshman Isaac Adams who's only participation this season was the season-opening event Argent Financial Classic when he shot 75-73-78=226 (+10).
