RUSTON – Louisiana Tech Athletics is beginning a series to honor some of the greatest Bulldogs and Lady Techsters of the last quarter century. Starting off, fans can vote this week for the Bulldog Football All-Quarter Century Team.
A total of 137 former Bulldogs who played at least one season from 2000-2024 and met at least one of the following criteria:
- Earned All-America honors
- Named First or Second Team All-Conference
- Drafted and/or played in the NFL
- Ranked in the top 10 in a major career statistical category (ex. most career receptions)
No current players with eligibility were included on the ballot.
Voting will be available through Friday, July 4.
The Bulldog Football All-Quarter Century Team will be made up of 50 players (three quarterbacks, four running backs, six wide receivers/tight ends, eight offensive linemen, eight defensive linemen, four linebackers, eight defensive backs, three returners, two kickers, two punters, and two long snappers).
