RUSTON – Louisiana Tech's transfer guard
Kaleigh Thompson will have her jersey displayed in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville for the year in recognition of her outstanding play during the 2024-25 season at Three Rivers College.
"It's truly a special honor for KT to have her jersey displayed at the WBHOF in Knoxville," Lady Techster head coach
Brooke Stoehr said. "We are excited for her career at Three Rivers to be recognized and celebrated. It's a testament to the hard work and outstanding accomplishments she has achieved. The Lady Techsters are well represented in Knoxville, and now KT will be able to add to that history."
The Ring of Honor is one of the most popular displays at the Hall of Fame and recognizes young women's basketball players for their achievements in the sport. It fulfills the Hall of Fame's mission to honor the past, celebrate the present, and promote the future of women's basketball.
More than 100 jerseys are currently on display in the Ring of Honor, including high school and college All-Americans from the 2024-25 season.
Thompson was the Region XVI Player of the Year, and a 2024-25 First Team All-American after Three Rivers reached the Elite 8 in the National Tournament for the second consecutive season. She averaged 13.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game during her final season in Missouri.
