Bradshaw-Brooks Golf Tournament Returns this Fall

LA Tech Athletics will host the Bradshaw-Brooks Golf Tournament presented by Origin Bank on Friday, October 31, at Squire Creek Country Club

RUSTON – Two of Louisiana Tech's favorite sons – NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw and country music star Kix Brooks – will return to Ruston this fall as Louisiana Tech Athletics hosts the Bradshaw-Brooks Golf Tournament presented by Origin Bank on Friday, October 31, at Squire Creek Country Club.

The event will serve as a major fundraiser for LA Tech Athletics, bringing alumni, fans, and community members together for a day of golf, fellowship, and Bulldog spirit.

"We are excited to welcome back two iconic Bulldogs as we host the Bradshaw-Brooks Golf Tournament presented by Origin Bank," said Ryan Ivey, Vice President & Director of Athletics.  "Words can't express the appreciation we have for Terry, Kix, and Origin Bank.

"This tournament will provide much-needed funds for our department and will directly impact our student-athletes.  We look forward to a great start to our homecoming day with this tournament."

This year's tournament will feature a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.  Participants will enjoy a boxed breakfast, lunch buffet, silent auction, and opportunities to visit with Bradshaw, Brooks, and other Louisiana Tech supporters. Tech coaches and student-athletes will also be on hand throughout the day.

Golfers will receive player gift packages and have the chance to compete in contests such as closest to the hole and longest drive.

Registration options include:
  • Team Registration ($2,000): Includes one 4-person team, boxed breakfast, lunch buffet, four tickets to the Homecoming game vs. Sam Houston, and player gift packages.
  • Individual Registration ($600): Open to single players who will be placed on a team with other individual signups.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at levels ranging from $500 to $10,000.
