ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (10-5, 3-1 CUSA)
The Lady Techsters secured their third conference win in a row last night, besting the third placed Middle Tennessee 61-48 in Ruston. A balanced offense and hounding defense kept Louisiana Tech ahead for the entire match, the sixth time this season.

The scoring started fast with LA Tech scoring the first six points, while the defense immediately forced problems for MTSU, forcing eight turnovers in the first quarter.
Paris Bradley's triple would send the game into the second quarter with a 15-5 Lady Techster lead, the second least points by the Blue Raiders in a quarter this season. Middle Tennessee battled back in the second, nailing two threes to close the gap to 27-21 at the half.

Louisiana Tech put together their best offensive effort in the third quarter, scoring 22 points and ballooning the lead back to as much as 17. The Lady Techsters entered the final frame up 49-35 and used the fourth quarter to keep the lead safe, ultimately winning 61-48 behind two
Jianna Morris three-point baskets.

Paris Bradley scored her seventh straight double-figure game with 17 points. Bradley also kept her five rebound streak alive, stretching it to eight games in a row with seven. The sophomore guard has been elite to start conference play, averaging 19 points on 52.0 percent shooting. Bradley has also averaged 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.

Averi Aaron has been foundational in her return to the starting lineup, averaging a team best 7.0 rebounds per game in conference play. Aaron is second in scoring at 12.5 per game and is one of four Lady Techsters to be averaging at least 3.0 assists per game in league play.

Louisiana Tech continues to boast one of the best offenses in the conference, averaging the second most points at 75.7 per game while averaging the most assists at 16.7 per game. The Lady Techsters have made the most field goals in the conference with 410 while shooting at the second best rate at 43.7 percent from the field. Â

ABOUT WESTERN KENTUCKY (5-11, 1-4 CUSA)
The Lady Toppers are coming off their lowest offensive output of the season against Sam Houston, falling 50-38 in Huntsville, Texas. WKU rolled out a new starting five against the Bearkats, the ninth starting lineup of the season. Sam Houston held leads closing the first and second quarter, entering halftime up 26-17. WKU would cut the lead down to eight midway through the third, but Sam Houston answered right back and never let the lead escape double-figures, eventually winning 50-38.

Western Kentucky had 33 turnovers against the fast-paced Bearcats, who are currently second in the country with turnovers forced per game at 28.1. Despite shooting at a better clip than Sam Houston from the field and behind the three point line, WKU could only muster 38 points.

That scoring was led by guard Trinity Rowe and forward Zsofia Telegdy, who both scored 11 in the game. Tia Shelling grabbed eight steals, a new career high and the third most by a conference player this season.

The Lady Toppers do not have a player who averages double figure scoring, led by Telegdy with 9.8 per contest. The Budapest, Hungary native also leads the squad in rebounding with 4.6 a game.

Western Kentucky is currently 11
th in Conference USA with a 1-4 league play record and are 5-11 on the season.Â

The Lady Techsters hold a narrow 29-28 lead in the series history against the Lady Toppers, with WKU sweeping LA Tech in league play last season. The last matchup came in Ruston with the Lady Toppers escaping with a 78-73 victory, highlighted by a 31-point WKU fourth quarter. Paris Bradley's 29 points, a career high at the time.
