DALLAS – The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs rose three spots after shooting 290 (+2) at day two of the Trinity Forest Invitational on Monday in Dallas, TexasÂ
Abel Derksen had a standout day, shooting 68 (-4), with eight birdies. Four of those came in a row, on Nos. 7, 8, 9, and 10. That is his best single round score of the season. He jumped 24 spots, finishing today tied for 7th.Â
After a tough round one and front nine today, Morton Bailey had a great second half of the day. On the back nine, he had two birdies and did not shoot worse than par. Due to the rough front nine, he ended round two shooting 73 (+1). He will enter the final day at +10 and tied for 86th.Â
