ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (22-5, 15-1 CUSA)
The 2026 regular season CUSA champion Lady Techsters got revenge against Sam Houston, avenging their lone conference loss of the season to end February.
Â
LA Tech started hot, running out to a 7-0 lead and forcing three Sam Houston turnovers.
Jianna Morris's triple closed the quarter to push the lead to 21-14. The Lady Techsters led by 14 at halftime and as much as 20 in the final frame. Louisiana Tech's lead was never in danger, never trailing at any point in the game, winning 75-60.
Â
Paris Bradley led the Lady Techsters with 14 points, shooting 4-7 from the arc. One of those threes came in the third quarter with only one shoe on. Bradley also grabbed six rebounds and dished four assists, marking 17 games of at least five rebounds and 13 games of at least four assists.
Â
Louisiana Tech outrebounded Sam Houston 49-24, the second largest margin of the season and the second most rebounds for LA Tech on the season.
Â
Bradley is the only player in Conference USA with at least 130 rebounds (135), 80 assists (89), and 50 made threes (52). She is the first Lady Techster to reach those marks in a season since Betty Lennox in the 1999-2000 season. Bradley is also the only player in CUSA to average 14.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, and 3.0 apg.
Â
Jianna Morris is one of three players in the country to average 2.7 three pointers per game and have a triple in every game this season. Morris is 13 three pointers away from tying the most in a season by a Lady Techster in program history, held by Aarica Ray-Boyd with 86.
Â
Louisiana Tech is two triples away from the most three pointers in program history. It would surpass the 199 three pointers made in the 2023-24 season and mark the only time the Lady Techsters have made 200 three pointers in a season.
Â
The Lady Techsters went 7-0 in February, including a 5-0 record on the road. LA Tech is one of 10 teams in the country to go undefeated on the road in conference play this season.
