RUSTON - Louisiana Tech head bowling coach
Matt Nantais announced the singing of Kahlen Ranson, a transfer from Governors State University, who will join the Bulldogs for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
Â
Ranson, an Illinois native, joins the team following a highly successful career at Governors State University.
Â
Beyond her athletic contributions, she arrives to LA Tech boasting a perfect 4.0 grade point average, epitomizing the team's commitment to elite academic and athletic performance. She was named an NAIA Academic All-American for her efforts in the classroom this past season.
Â
"We are very fortunate to have Kahlen join us for the 2026-27 season," said head coach
Matt Nantais. "She had a great career at Governors State University and comes to us with a perfect 4.0 GPA, which is something that shows her dedication to academics. That fits into our model here at Louisiana Tech. I'm looking for her to contribute and help us continue our success."
Ranson joins Riley Emerson, Maria Molina Diaz and Nevaeh Hull as signees for this upcoming season.
