Tudor follows Hickton to Ruston after All-American Freshman Season
RUSTON – Louisiana Tech head men's golf coach Keenan Hickton announced the signing of Aidan Tudor, who will join the Bulldogs for the 2026-27 season season after spending his freshman campaign under Hickton at Sewanee.
Tudor arrives in Ruston following a standout freshman season in which he earned Southern Athletic Association Rookie of the Year, First Team All-SAA, PING All-Region IV and Third Team All-America honors. He posted a 72.7 scoring average across 32 rounds, recording five top-20 finishes, 20 rounds of 74 or better and six rounds in the 60s.
The freshman helped lead Sewanee to one of the most successful seasons in program history. The Tigers recorded eight top-five finishes, including in all seven spring tournaments, won two tournament titles and placed fourth at the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship, the highest national finish in program history.
Individually, Tudor tied for fifth at the SAA Championship, finished third at the Discover DeKalb Emory Invitational, tied for 12th at the Savannah Invitational, tied for 15th at the season-opening Gate City Invitational and tied for 20th at the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship.
Before beginning his collegiate career, the New Market, Maryland, native competed at Mount Saint Joseph High School, where he earned MIAA Class A All-Conference honors as both a junior and senior. He won the 2025 Frank Emmet Schoolboy Tournament title and was a medalist at the American Junior Golf Association qualifier in 2023.
