Louisiana Tech Cross Country Opens New Sun Belt Era with 2026 Schedule

RUSTON - Louisiana Tech's men's and women's cross country teams are set to begin a new chapter as the Bulldogs enter their first season of competition as members of the Sun Belt Conference.
The 2026 campaign features five meets, highlighted by the program's inaugural appearance at the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships.
Louisiana Tech opens the season on Friday, Sept. 11, at the Demon Invitational, hosted by Northwestern State in Natchitoches, before traveling to Lake Charles for the Cowboy Stampede, hosted by McNeese, on Sept. 26.
The Bulldogs continue their season with back-to-back meets in Mississippi, beginning with the Belhaven Invitational, on Oct. 3 in Jackson before competing at the Watson Cross Country Classic, hosted by Mississippi College, on Oct. 16 in Clinton.
The season concludes with Louisiana Tech making its Sun Belt Conference debut at the conference championships on Friday, Oct. 30, in Foley, Alabama.
