W. A. (Bill) Ruple

A hard-nosed football player at Tech, Ruple later developed into one of the most successful prep football caches in Louisiana history. He coached Neville of Monroe to four state championships and 149 victories in his 18 seasons there (1942-1962) and in his last 49 games Neville lost just once.
