Tommy Spinks

Virtually unrecruited out of Shreveport's Woodlawn High School, Spinks arrived at tech with a schoolboy chum by the name of Terry Bradshaw and they became the most successful passing combination in Louisiana history. Tommy made all-conference three years and set a state pass reception record (182 catches) that stood for 18 years before finally being snapped by Tulane's Marc Zeno.
