Bulldogs Defeat Utah State, Nevada to Advance to First WAC Championship Game

Three Louisiana Tech players scored in double-figures, led by senior Trevor Gaskins' 21 points, as the Bulldogs defeated Nevada 78-73 Friday night at the Orleans Arena. With the victory, Tech advanced to the Western Athletic Conference Tournament Finals for the first time in program history.   Gaskins was fouled with 11 seconds left after receiving the inbound pass and nailed his two free throw attempts to seal the victory for the Bulldogs.
