Tech defeats Top 25 Fresno State

Ryan Moats rushed for 236 yards and four touchdowns, including the game-winner with 3:20 to play, as the Bulldogs defeated 17th ranked Fresno State 28-21 in Ruston. It marked only the second win ever over a Top 25 opponent in Tech's FBS history and the first at Joe Aillet Stadium. The victory was sealed with current Green Bay Packer Tramon Williams intercepted a Paul Pinegar pass with 1:03 to play. The game started with a skirmish between the two teams during pregame warm-ups and ended when the majority of the crowd of 18,330 stormed the field and tore down the goal posts.
