TICKETS
New Orleans BowlTICKET REQUESTS
Tickets for the 2020 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl will be available for purchase beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 9 a.m. (CT) for LTAC donors and football season ticket holders only. Tickets will then be available to the general public at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17.

LA Tech Athletics is limited to 1,000 tickets per the designation of the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl and the city of New Orleans. The pass list for the LA Tech football student-athletes is included in this number. 

Tickets for the New Orleans Bowl will be digital. Fans will receive their tickets by Monday, Dec. 20 for tickets purchased by Friday, Dec. 18. The Tech Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Tech Ticket Office will also be open for the entirety of the LA Tech men's basketball game on Tuesday, Dec. 15. 

LTAC donors and LA Tech football season ticket holders can reserve their tickets by calling the Tech Ticket Office at (318) 257-3631. Due to the high demand for tickets, if the Tech Ticket Office cannot be reached by phone, LTAC donors and football season ticket holders can make their request for tickets through emailing TechTickets@latech.edu. 

SEATING AND PRICING
Tickets are available at $60 for LTAC donors and LA Tech football season ticket holders in sections 113, 114 and 115. Due to the social distancing protocols already in place, tickets are in pods of twos and fours, with the occasional groupings of three. 

STUDENT TICKETS
There are 100 tickets available for LA Tech students that are now available for $30 thanks to passionate alumni who made donations to lower the price for our students. Student tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis in sections 111, 112, 116 and 117. These tickets will be available for purchase on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 9 a.m. (CT).

TICKET PRIORITY
All tickets will be assigned by Louisiana Tech Athletic Club (LTAC) priority,  LTAC is the annual fund for Louisiana Tech Athletics.  All gifts to LTAC directly impact student-athletes and programs.  

ORDERING THROUGH LA TECH
Ordering your bowl game tickets through LA Tech will ensure that you are able to sit and enjoy the game alongside other Bulldog fans in our sections.  While you can purchase tickets through other avenues, it benefits you and the university to purchase tickets directly through the LA Tech Ticket Office.  Show your support by purchasing your bowl game tickets through the LA Tech Ticket Office to cheer on your Bulldogs!  As stated above, you can purchase through the Ticket Office at (318) 257-3631 or by emailing TechTickets@latech.edu.

MERCEDES-BENZ SUPERDOME

The R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl will take place in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. 

ENTRANCES
All patrons can enter the Mercedes-Benz Superdome through Gates B and H on the plaza level. Gate A on the ground level is accessible to ADA patrons only.

WILL CALL
Louisiana Tech player/guest will call will be at Gate B.

MOBILE TICKETS
Fans will need present their tickets on a mobile phone in order to gain entry to the stadium. Please have tickets are pulled up on your phone prior to entering the health-screening checkpoint. Each ticket can be displayed on an individual phone or all tickets in your group may be presented on one mobile phone. 

FACE COVERINGS
Face coverings will be mandatory for all fans and staff, and must be worn on the Superdome property at all times (other than while actively eating or drinking). Failure to comply, will result in ejection from the stadium. Be a good teammate – because wearing a face covering not only helps to protect you, it helps protect other fans, our team and our staff.

HEALTH SCREENINGS
All fans will be required to go through a temperature check prior to entering the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOLS
Please maintain physical distancing at least 6 feet while on Superdome property; including the parking lot, at the entry gates and as you move around the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. When exiting your seats for concessions, restrooms or following the game, please wait for aisles to clear to avoid congestion.

Your ticketholder party will be seated together in a "pod" of adjacent seats. Your pod will be separated from other groups by approximately six (6) feet. Please do not sit in any seat other than the one you've been assigned in order to help us maintain pod integrity. Also, please remember to maintain social distancing and do not visit other guests in their seating pod.

Social distancing will be enforced in high traffic areas, including: 

  • Restroom Locations
  • Concessions Stands and Portable Locations
  • Elevator Transportation
  • Escalator Transportation
  • Guest Service Locations
  • Merchandise Locations
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Touch free hand sanitizer locations will be placed throughout the stadium near concession locations, entrances to restrooms, walkways into seating sections, restrooms and guest services locations.

The health and safety of employees and fans is a priority for the New Orleans Pelicans and the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The below updates have been made to the concession areas in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome:

  • Every other Point-of-Sale device will be utilized to create social distancing for F&B queuing at open locations, and each device will cleaned frequently.
  • Floor decals will be deployed assisting patrons with proper distancing, as well as additional signage surrounding the concession location.
  • A customer facing barrier will be erected to minimized customer/patron interactions.
  • Portable bars and food openings will be spaced out throughout the concourse areas and will have the same safety measures as the concession stands.
  • Masks and gloves are required for all staff working concession stands and portable locations.
Designated smoking gates located exterior of the plaza level will be eliminated for the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl in order to reduce unnecessary gathering.

TAILGATING
Tailgating is not allowed at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and is highly discouraged around the area. Champions Square, club XLIV and Opening Act will not be open to guests.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
All bags are prohibited other than clear vinyl bags no larger than 12" wide x 12" height x 6" deep, Gallon Size Ziploc Bags (Limit 1 of either) and Small Clutch Purses no larger than 4.5" x 6.5". Non-clear Diaper bags are prohibited.

A clear diaper bag (no larger than 12" wide x 12" height x 6" deep) is permitted. Each member of a family, including children, would be allowed to carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse into the stadium. Outside Food & Drink, Cans, Bottles, Weapons, Fireworks, Contraband, Fanny Packs, Back Packs, Video Cameras, Cameras with lens exceeding 6”, Recording Devices, Sticks/poles/Selfie Sticks, GoPros, Beach balls, Laser Pointers, Mace, Artificial Noisemakers, Drones, Whistles and Containers of any kind are prohibited on Mercedes-Benz Superdome property. Any other items determined unacceptable by management will also be prohibited.

CAMERA POLICY
No video cameras, recording devices, or cameras with lens exceeding 6".

ODDS AND ENDS

TEAM HOTEL
The Louisiana Tech football team will be staying at the Sheraton New Orleans. Fans can reserve a room at the Sheraton here.

VISITING TEAM
Louisiana Tech football will serve as the visiting team in the 2020 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. The Bulldogs will wear light jerseys while the Eagles will wear dark jerseys.

BOWL POSTERS
Bowl game posters will be available to pick up at the Louisiana Tech men's basketball game against Lamar on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m.

TICKET COMMUNICATION
The LA Tech Ticket Office will communicate the result of all ticket results for the bowl game by Friday, Dec. 18 at 9 a.m. We cannot guarantee every request, but will do our very best to fulfill as many as possible.
