Gameday Guide Volleyball Header

ADA ACCESSIBLE SEATING
ADA Accessible seating is available in the following sections: 102, 103, 110, 113, 118 and 119. ADA Seating can be accessed through the main concourse.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Policies pertaining to alcohol are in place so that all guests can enjoy the event in a safe and comfortable environment.
• It is prohibited to bring alcohol into the Thomas Assembly Center. Violators will be subject to ejection and applicable legal action.
• State law requires that all persons consuming alcohol be at least 21 years of age.
• Intoxicated or alcohol impaired guests may be refused admission to the Thomas Assembly Center.
• Only two (2) alcoholic beverages may be purchased at one time.
• All alcohol sales will end with 15 minutes remaining in the second half of men’s games and with 5 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter of women’s games.

ANIMALS
Service dogs for guests with disabilities are permitted. All other animals are prohibited. All service animals (dogs) must remain under the control of the handler at all times. Emotional support animals are not allowed into the Thomas Assembly Center. Please see US Service Animals for more information.  

ATM

An ATM machine is located on the east side of the main concourse next to the south ticket booth.

BAGS & BAG SEARCH
Guests will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container into the venue:
• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” (Official LA Tech team logo clear plastic tote bags will be available through LA Tech Barns and Noble Store)
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
• Small clutch bags, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags.
• An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, non-approved seat cushions and chairbacks*, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
*Non-approved seat cushions and chairbacks include large traditional seat cushions that have pockets, zippers, compartments, or covers. Seat cushions and chairbacks must be 18” or less in width.

BANNERS, SIGNS, FLAGS
Banners, signs, and flags are allowed in athletic facilities provided they do not impede another guest's view of the competition, cover any facility signage, and/or are not attached to the facility. Banners, signs, and flags on poles or sticks are prohibited. Athletics Event Management reserves the right to remove any banner, sign, or flag that is in violation of the policy.

BOTTLES
It is permissible for guests to bring into the Thomas Assembly Center a clear, empty plastic commercial bottle. It is impermissible to bring any other type of beverage into the arena. Plastic baby bottles are permitted into the arena if the infant is with the guest, but are subject to inspection by security upon entering.

CAMERAS & PHOTOGRAPHY
Cameras with lenses less than six inches are allowed. Flash photography and stands/tripods of any type are prohibited. In no instance should anyone take photographs to block aisle ways and/or seating areas or otherwise interfere with another fan's enjoyment of the game.

CONDUCT/EJECTIONS
Fans are encouraged to treat visitors, players, coaches and officials with courtesy and respect. Abusive language or disorderly conduct is unacceptable and unwelcome in the Thomas Assembly Center and may result in ejection. Anyone who interferes with the game by coming onto the field or by throwing objects will be ejected and possibly arrested. LA Tech Athletics reserve the right to eject any patron whose behavior is against policy, unruly or illegal in nature. Event tickets will be forfeited without refund. Revocation of season tickets or arrest is possible.

CONTAINERS AND COOLERS
Cans, glass, bottles, ice chests, coolers, picnic baskets and insulated beverage containers are prohibited in the Thomas Assembly Center.

COURT ACCESS
Guests are prohibited from coming onto the field or court at any time. Only participants, coaches, officials, and authorized personnel shall be allowed in the competition area before, during, and at the conclusion of the competition. This policy is for the safety of our guests, the officials, student-athletes, and coaches. Violators are subject to arrest.

DOORS
All doors will open 60 minutes prior to tip-off.

ELECTRONIC TICKET SCANNING

All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity. Tickets must be scanned each time a patron enters or exits the arena. Tickets which have been logged in upon entry cannot be reused by another guest. Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the LA Tech Athletics Ticket Office.

LOST AND FOUND
For items lost during a basketball game, please contact a LA Tech Staff member. To claim items after a game, contact the Athletics Internal Operations office at 318.257.2599.

MERCHANDISE

Officially licensed LA Tech merchandise is available for purchase at the LA Tech Barns and Noble store location on the main concourse between sections 113-114. No other merchandise may be sold on the grounds of the LA Tech Sports Complex. Guests approached by someone selling merchandise are asked to report the person and location to a parking attendant, event staff or police.

PARKING
• Fans may park in the east lot of the Thomas Assembly Center if they are a season ticket holder or LTAC member that has a hang-tag parking pass.
• ADA parking is located on the west side of the Thomas Assembly Center and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Student and free parking is located on the north side of Joe Aillet Stadium.

PROHIBITED ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES

• Alcoholic beverages or controlled substances
• Cans, glass, bottles, ice chests, coolers, picnic baskets and insulated beverage containers (see Containers and Coolers)
• Large bags (see Bags and Bag Search)
• Possession or use of firearms, explosives (including fireworks) or other weapons
• Food and/or beverages (see Bottles/Cans)
• Noisemakers (this is includes banging cups, bottles or cans on hard surfaces on seats)
• Portable chairback seats exceeding 18” in width
• Large flags, flagpoles and items obstructing sight lines
• Large strollers
• Live animals (except Guide and Service Dogs)
• Resale of tickets (see Solicitation)
• Throwing of any objects
• Laser Pointers of any type
• Banners, placards and leaflets not pre-approved by the Athletics Department
• Standing in aisles and behind seating areas/aisles on concourse

RESTROOMS
Men’s and women’s restrooms can be found on either side of the main concourse at Thomas Assembly Center. Restrooms are located between sections 105-107 and 115-117.

STROLLERS
Strollers are permitted in Joe Aillet Stadium. Strollers must be collapsible and fit under seating areas or left at the owner’s risk in the back of a handicap bunker pending available space.

SMOKING
Louisiana Tech University policy prohibits the smoking of cigarettes, cigars, pipes or burning tobacco in any other form or device, as well as the use of electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, hookah or other water pipe devices and all other related devices on university property, except inside personal vehicles.

SOLICITATION
University policy prohibits solicitation of any unauthorized item for sale, trade or giveaway on the grounds of the Louisiana Tech University. This includes solicitation of charitable donations and game or event tickets. Violators of this policy will be asked to leave the stadium grounds and may be cited for trespassing.

TICKETS
General Information: All person's ages four and older must present a ticket to enter the Thomas Assembly Center. Tickets may be purchased at the TAC Ticket Office near the main gate. The ticket booth opens one hour prior to tip-off.
Will Call/Player Guest: Pre-purchased tickets may be picked up at the Thomas Assembly Center Ticket Office beginning an hour prior to tip-off. Only the person whose name is on the ticket order may pick up the tickets. A photo ID is required for all will-call orders.
Lost/Misplaced Tickets: For lost or misplaced season tickets, the Athletics Ticket Ofice may re-issue tickets to the ticket holder of record only. A service fee is charged for each replacement ticket. For season tickets that have been lost in the mail or stolen, contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 318.257.3631 for replacement information.

UMBRELLA POLICY
For the safety and consideration of all guests, umbrellas are prohibited inside the Thomas Assembly Center. Guests are asked to leave umbrellas with a game attendant at the main gate where you will be able to reclaim as you leave the facility. 

WATER FOUNTAINS

Water fountains are located throughout the concourses of the Thomas Assembly Center. They are located between sections 103-107, 110-112, and 115-118.
