Dedicated to delivering championship resources to drive competitive excellence and life-long student-athlete success, the Aillet Society represents an elite association of shareholders committed to achieving one mission: Building the Legacy.

The Aillet Society recognizes shareholders who provide their leadership by making charitable commitments to Louisiana Tech Athletics of $25,000 or more, payable over a five-year period. Gifts made to the Aillet Society are philanthropic in nature and are above and beyond annual LTAC donations. Support from the Aillet Society will provide funding for facility construction and renovations, coaches' salary enhancements, and other specific projects of the Athletics Department designed to enhance the student-athlete and fan experience.

What is the Aillet Society?
The Aillet Society is a newly established philanthropic shareholder group of Louisiana Tech Athletics. The Aillet Society formalizes the support of facility construction and renovations, coaches’ salary enhancements, and other specific operations of the Athletic Department designed to enhance the student-athlete experience. Gifts made to the Aillet Society are philanthropic in nature and are not associated with seating or parking benefits.

Why should I join the Aillet Society?
Through the generosity of our loyal shareholders, the Aillet Society will help elevate Louisiana Tech Athletics to nationally competitive levels by providing first-class facilities, additional resources to recruit elite student-athletes, and invest in superior coaches and staff.

What are the benefits of joining the Aillet Society?
A gift to the Aillet Society is a philanthropic donation that supports the mission of Louisiana Tech Athletics. In addition, Aillet Society shareholders receive invitations to exclusive events with coaches and staff, and specially-designed Aillet Society apparel. Other benefits include facility naming opportunities, sideline access for home games, team travel to away games, and more, depending on the gift.

Why is Louisiana Tech Athletics creating a new major giving society?
Louisiana Tech University is strategically focused on improving the position of our athletics program to be the most sought after Group of Five program in the next round of conference realignment. The Aillet Society encourages and formalizes giving towards capital projects and other specific initiatives in pursuit of elite conference status. The Aillet Society will allow us to appropriately recognize and stewart shareholders who support with philanthropic gifts of $25,000 and above.

What is the minimum gift requirement to be a member of the Aillet Society?
Aillet Society membership starts at $25,000 and can be paid over a five-year period.

How is the Aillet Society different from LTAC?
Gifts to the Aillet Society are philanthropic in nature and will be used to support upcoming facility projects and assist in the recruitment of elite student-athletes and the investment in superior coaches and staff. Gifts to LTAC provide donors access to priority seating and parking for Louisiana Tech athletic events. LTAC contributions are unrestrited and are vital to our overall athletic budget.

If I make a pledge to the Aillet Society, does that fulfill my requirement for LTAC or other seating donations?
No. Gifts to the Aillet Society are independent of existing LTAC donation requirements for seating and parking benefits.

Is my gift to the Aillet Society tax-deductible?
Yes. Your gift to the Aillet Society is eligible for tax-deduction less the fair market value of any benefits associated with your gift. Please consult your tax professional.

If I make a pledge, when and how do I contribute towards my pledge balance?
Gifts may be paid in full or with a payment schedule over the course of up to five years. Members may contribute towards their pledge monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

How long is my membership valid if I join the Aillet Society?
Aillet Society membership is awarded for five years.

What happens if I am unable to meet the requirements of my initial pledge?
Should there be a lapse in payment, benefits will be suspended until the gift is up-to-date based on the prearranged payment schedule.

Can I make an Aillet Society donation through a stock transfer or donor advised fund?
Yes. Louisiana Tech Athletics welcomes gifts from stock transfers and donor advised funds.

Am I able to join the Aillet Society with a matching gift from my company?

Joe Aillet
The Aillet Society is named after Joe Aillet, Louisiana Tech's winningest football coach, beloved teacher, and member of several Halls of Fame. Through his 26-year coaching career, Aillet established a strong foundation for Louisiana Tech University. Through the Aillet Society, we hope to honor his commitment to student-athletes and Louisiana Tech.
