Jake Wells returns to the Diamond Dogs program as the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator after five successful seasons at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.

The Devine, Texas, native is no stranger to Ruston, in which Wells played a key role in both the 2015 and 2016 seasons here at Louisiana Tech. Wells played a pivotal part in building the 2016 roster which returned the Bulldogs to the NCAA Regionals as an at-large bid in the Starkville Regional.
