Hallie McClintock enters her second season on the LA Tech staff as the distance coach after having spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at South Carolina.

In her first season in Ruston, the cross-country team set 10 marks that ranked inside the program's top 10 performance list since 2008. The women's team accounted for nine of the marks.

McClintock was crucial in the development of Laney Lopez, Rebecca Quebedeaux, Lexa Thompson and Gracie Pepitone, with each of those athletes setting PRs throughout the season and finishing with top-10 marks. Lopez set the program's top mark since 2008 in the 4K at 15:38.0 at the Rice Invitational and secured top marks in the 5K and 6K. Lopez would also run the fifth fastest time in the 3,000 during the outdoor season at the Jim Mize Invitational with a time of 11:00.14. Quebedeaux would finish out her career by also setting marks in the 4K, 5K and 6K.

In 2024, McClintock helped coach the Gamecock cross-country team to record its first top-10 finish at the SEC Cross Country Championship for the first time since 2012, finishing eighth overall. It was also the best team result since posting a seventh-place finish in 2001.

McClintock coached Silan Ayyildiz and Judy Kosgei to become the second duo in program history to land on the All-SEC team in the same race. Ayyildiz finished seventh overall, while Kosgei crossed in 11th, missing out on the Gamecocks' first top-10 duo at the SEC Championship. Ayyildiz's 19:56.2 was the second-fastest 6k race in program history.

She also helped the Gamecocks to 4th and 11th place finishes at the SEC Championship and 24th and 12th place finishes at the NCAAs during the indoor season. The outdoor teams finished 10th at the SEC Championship and T40th and 15th at the NCAAs.

McClintock ran distance for Georgia for five seasons. During her time as a student-athlete, McClintock competed in the 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 5000, and mile events, and was a member of the 4x400 relay team. She finished with 22 top-five and 33 total top-10 finishes.
