Hunter Geisman

Hunter Geisman joined the Bulldog family in December of 2023 as Senior Associate A.D. for Business Strategy, serving as chief financial officer after spending the last 15+ years working in LSU's athletic department. He also serves as the sport administrator for the men's and women's track and field/cross country teams.

Geisman was part of LSU Athletics starting in 2007 where he most recently served as director of athletics travel in the Athletics Business Office and assisted with governmental relations. Geisman oversaw the daily operation of all athletic travel and ensured the department adheres to university, state, SEC and NCAA travel policies. He managed the bid specifications for charter flights, buses, and hotels for team travel and audits travel-related expenses.

Geisman started his career in athletics as an intern in the Athletics Ticket Office and was hired full-time in 2009. During his time in the ticket office, he was charged with the supervision of student ticketing including the student priority point system, managing internal football ticket requests and assisting with all post-season events. He also was integral in establishing the LSU Recent Grad Program.

Geisman is a member of the 2017 cohort of Leadership Baton Rouge and the 2019 class of the Sports Management Institute.

The Atlanta, La., native, is a two-time graduate of Louisiana State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in general studies in 2007 and a master’s degree in Sport Administration in 2008. He is married to the former Cami Dinkel who serves as Executive Vice President of External Affairs at LA Tech. The two have two children, Archer and Louise.
