Chance Trickett joined the Louisiana Tech staff as the Director of Recruiting in spring of 2015.

Trickett joined the staff after spending the 2014 season as a recruiting assistant at Florida State where he was responsible for the initiation evaluation of potential student-athletes and assisted in the design and creation of recruiting mailers to prospects. He was also responsible for managing official and unofficial visits as well as analyzing and evaluating game film of potential prospects.

Trickett received his Bachelor's Degree from Florida State in 2011. He is the son of Florida State offensive line coach Rick Trickett.
