Graduate Assistant (Defense)

Mike Schrang began his coaching career as a defensive graduate assistant coach in 2015 at Louisiana Tech.

He joined the coaching staff after receiving his Bachelor's Degree from LA Tech in 2014 and completing his eligibility after four years with the Bulldogs. From 2011 to 2014 Schrang registered 69 total tackles (32 solo, 37 assisted) with 3.0 tackles for a loss of 11 yards with four passes defended including one interception. He was also responsible for one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
