David Stuckman joined the Louisiana Tech staff in 2015 as a defensive graduate assistant coach.

Stuckman came to Louisiana Tech after spending the 2014 season as a graduate assistant at Midwestern State where he worked with the defensive backs .

Prior to his first collegiate job at Midwestern State, Stuckman was a wide receivers coach at Gainesville (Fla.) High School for six months. He spent the 2013 season as a defensive backs and wide receivers coach at Yonge High School in Gainesville, Florida as he made his coaching debut.

Prior to coaching at the high school level, Stuckman worked for General Electric from 2011-2012.

Stuckman received his Bachelor's Degree from Grambling State in 2012 where he played on the 2008 and 2011 Southwestern Athletic Conference championship football team, serving as team captain.
