• Earned Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2016 after helping lead Memorial to winning a share of the District 22-5A title and racked up 1,661 total yards
• Scored 21 touchdowns as a junior in 2016
• Was named to the 2017 Subway Super Team, which honors the best and brightest stars in Texas high school football
• Chose Louisiana Tech over offers from New Mexico, Lamar, Central Arkansas and New Mexico State
