Attended Clovis West High School … was a three-star recruit … played as a corner, safety and wide receiver in high school … was a three-year varsity letterwinner … on defense, totaled 86 tackles, three interceptions, 10 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles in his senior season … offensively, had 600 yards and six touchdowns on 39 receptions … was the team’s defensive MVP … first team All-TRAC athlete … helped Clovis West to their first double-digit winning season (10-2) since 2010-11, when CWHS won the Central Section Division I title … was also a member of the basketball team and track team (long jump and 100 m) … part of the Black Student Union and SOAR clubs … was a three-time Honor Roll student.
