A three-star recruit who chose Louisiana Tech over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, NC State, UNLV, Arkansas State, UTEP, Utah State, UMass and others … Earned first-team all-region honors and honorable mention all-state honors at Lone Peak High School, where he helped lead the Knights to an 11-3 record and a runner-up finish in the Utah state championship game as a senior… Was named first-team all-Arizona as a junior at Hamilton High School in Chandler.
