Biography
2018
- Competed in the pole vault for the Bulldogs during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
- Finished fifth in the pole vault at the C-USA Indoor Championships (2/17) with a season-best mark of 15-6.5 (4.74m) to earn four points for the Bulldogs.
- Posted a mark of 15-2.25 (4.63m) in the pole vault to finish in second place at the Pittsburg State Invitational (1/27).
- Placed seventh in the pole vault at the Jaguar Invitational (2/4) with a mark of 15-1.75 (4.62m).
- During the outdoor season, finished in the top 10 in all four events he competed in, including placing in the top five three times.Â
- Posted a season-best mark of 15-9.75 (4.82m) in the pole vault to place sixth and earn three points at the C-USA Outdoor Championships (5/10).
- Placed third in the pole vault at the LSU Alumni Gold (4/21) with a mark of 15-7.25 (4.76m).
- Finished fourth at the NSU Invitational (4/28) after posting a mark of 15-1 (4.60m) in the pole vault.Â
- Placed second at the ULM Warhawk Classic (4/14) with a mark of 14-1.25 (4.30m) in the pole vault.
2017
- Competed in the pole vault at the C-USA Indoor Championships (2/18) where he finished fifth in the event with a mark of 15-7.75 (4.77m) to earn four points to LA Tech’s team total.
- During the outdoor season, finished in the top five in the pole vault four out of five times, including a season-best mark of 15-7 (4.75m) to finish third at the Ole Miss Classic (5/6).
- Placed fifth in the pole vault at the Victor Lopez Classic (3/24) with a mark of 15-5 (4.70m).
- Finished fifth at the Ragin’ Cajuns Classic (3/17) with a mark of 14-11.50 (4.56m).
- Competed at the C-USA Outdoor Championships (5/11) where he finished fifth and earned four team points with his mark of 15-1.50 (4.61m) in the event.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from West Ouachita High School in 2016 … Four-year letterwinner in both track and football for the Chiefs … District 2-4A champion in both 2015 and 2016, as well as Region 1-4A champion both years … Came in fourth place in the state in 2015 before placing third in the state as a senior in 2016 … Coached by Jay Watson.
