- Competed in the javelin during the outdoor season as a freshman for the Bulldogs, finishing in the top 10 on four different occasions.
- Recorded a season-best mark of 163-8 (49.90m) in the javelin to finish fifth at the SFA Carl Kight Invitational (4/6).
- Placed fifth in the javelin at the NSU Invitational (4/28) with a throw of 146-8 (44.70m).
- Finished seventh in the javelin at the ULM Warhawk Classic (4/14) with a mark of 158-4 (48.27m).
- Placed 11th at the C-USA Outdoor Championships (5/10) with a mark of 162-3 (49.45m) in the javelin.
