Ran his personal best in the 8K a week later at the Watson Cross Country Classic with a time of 33:08.0 (9/24) ... Competed at the Conference USA XC Championships in the 8K and finished 72nd with a time of 35:39.6 ... Ran in the 5000m in the indoor USA Jaguar invitational (2/5) and at the outdoor Jim Mize Invitational where he logged his best event time with an 18:57.88, taking third place (3/17).
