- Best mark of the season came at both the J.D. Martin Invitational (2/8) and Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/22-23) after placing fifth with a mark of 5-7 (1.70m).
- Finished fifth with a mark of 5-6.5 (1.69m) at the UAB Blazer Invitational (1/10).
- Placed sixth with a mark of 5-7 (1.70m) at the C-USA Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/22-23).
- Outdoor season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019
- Competed in the high jump during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
- Finished in the top 10 in 10 of the 11 events competed in.
- Best mark indoors came at the Texas Tech Open (2/1), placing second with a mark of 5-06.50 (1.69m).
- Came in first at the KMS Invitational (1/27) with a mark of 5-05.00 (1.65m).
- Finished 12th in the high jump at the C-USA Indoor Championships (2/16) with a mark of 5-05.25 (1.66m).
- Season-best mark came outdoors at the LSU Alumni Gold (4/20), placing second with a mark of 5-08.00 (1.73m).
- Finished second at the Drake Relays (4/24) with a mark of 5-07.25 (1.71m).
2018
- Competed in the high jump during both the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Lady Techsters as a freshman.
- Never finished outside the top 10 in the high jump during the indoor campaign.
- Had a season-best mark of 5-7.75 (1.72m) in the high jump to finish in first place at the Pittsburg State Invitational (1/27) during the indoor season.
- Placed sixth in the high jump and earned three points for the Lady Techsters at the C-USA Indoor Championships (2/17) with a jump of 5-6 (1.68m).
- Placed fourth in the high jump at the Ragin' Cajun Classic (3/17) with a season-best mark of 5-5.75 (1.67m) during the outdoor season.
- Also placed fourth in the high jump at the Victor Lopez Classic (3/23), SFA Carl Kight Invitational (4/6) and ULM Warhawk Classic (4/14).
- Finished 15th in the high jump at the C-USA Outdoor Championships (5/10) with a jump of 5-3.25 (1.61m).

Graduated from Yorkville High School in 2017 … Lettered in track and field and cross country … Earned all-conference and all-academic awards during her prep days … Coached by Ben Draper and Alvin Lewis.

Full name is Sydney Taylor Anderson … Daughter of Yolanda Douglas … Born on June 21, 1999 in Aurora, Illinois … She is a triplet along with her siblings, Dominque and Sierra … Her sister, Dominque, is also a member of Louisiana Tech’s track and field squad.
