Quinton Yray spent six seasons (2007-12) as head coach of the Louisiana Tech tennis team.

During his tenure, the longest in program history, he compiled a 40-87 dual record which included the Lady Techsters first ever WAC victory with a 5-2 victory over San Jose State. 

His final two spring seasons produced double-digit victories, recording an 11-9 mark in 2011 and a 14-8 record in 2012. 

Before coming to LA Tech, Yray was coaching tennis at Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Oregon.

Yray played tennis at Yuba College and MiraCosta College and professionally for two years before a shoulder injury cut his career short. 

He has two children, Gabriella and Julien.
