Former Bulldog football student-athlete Solomon Randle is entering his fourth year as part of the Louisiana Tech Athletics staff and third year within the University Foundation as the Director of LTAC.

In this role, Solomon is responsible for overseeing and securing private financial support through our athletics annual giving program, the Louisiana Tech Athletic Club (LTAC). He is also the director of the Lettermen’s Club and serves as a liaison between the Tech Athletics Ticket Office and University Foundation staff.

As a member of the LTAC staff, Solomon has been a part of multiple record-breaking fundraising years, including setting a new program record for dollars raised at $1.61 million in 2017-18. In that same year, the Lettermen’s Club also saw a 31 percent new member increase.

In 2018, Solomon was recognized by a number of national organizations for his early career success. He was one of fourteen selected to participate in the fifth annual Learfield Minority Academy, a one-of-a-kind event that is designed to foster minority growth and development in the collegiate multimedia and sponsorship sector. He was also one of thirty-five across the country selected for the 2018 NAADD Diversity Initiative Program. The National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) provides educational and networking opportunities for the profession of athletics development and fundraising.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Solomon worked with The Aspire Group here at Louisiana Tech as a ticket sales and service consultant.

Originally from Mobile, AL., Solomon was a four-year letterman (2009-2012) for the Bulldog football team and finished his playing career with 159 tackles. He was named a Rivals.com Freshman All-Conference selection in 2009 and was a four-time Academic All-Conference team member. He was a member of the 2011 Western Athletic Conference championship team and was elected a captain in 2012.

Solomon graduated from Tech with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2012 and is currently pursuing his master’s in business administration. He lives in Ruston and is engaged to Ashley Dunlap. The couple will marry in May, 2019.
