Men's Golf Completes First Day at Louisiana Tech Invitational

CALHOUN, La. (Oct. 23) -- Louisiana Tech's Brad Wright led all golfers with a two-round score of 137 after the first day of competition at the Louisiana Tech Invitational at the Pine Hills Country Club.

The Shreveport, La. native shot an even-par 72 in the morning round and scored a tournament-best 65 in the afternoon to lead the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs are in seventh place heading into the second day of competition with a 602 team score. Tennessee-Chattanooga leads the tournament with a 584 team score.

Other Louisiana Tech scores include Jay Caserta - 150, Casey Martin - 150, Sean Knox - 150, Scott Rainwater - 152, Chris Baker - 152, Chad French - 153, Kevin Fetzner - 154, Jason Cart - 157, Matt Mixon - 160 and Brian Hillman - 161.
