Wright Leads Tech Golfers at Hal Sutton Invitational

SHREVEPORT (Nov. 7) - Junior Shreveport native Brad Wright shot a two-round total of 148 to finish 14th and lead Louisiana Tech at the Hal Sutton Invitational Nov. 7.

Wright's first day total of 70 found him the Top 5 before finishing the tournament with a second round 78.

Coach Tom Stinson's Bulldogs finished seventh in the eight-team tournament with a two-day total of 602. Tulane won the event with a 579.

Other Tech competitors were Casey Martin in 21st with a 150, Chad French and Sean Knox in 30th with a 153 and Scott Rainwater in 34th with a 156. A total of 41 golfers competed in the event.
