RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech’s Gerrod Henderson received another post-season award this week when he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 8 First Team.

The team is selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC. The 150 student athletes, from 15 districts, are now eligible for the NABC/Chevrolet Division I All-American Team to be announced at the conclusion of the 2000-01 NCAA men’s basketball season.

Henderson led Louisiana Tech this season with 18.4 points per game, 53 steals, 56 three-pointers made and a .838 free throw shooting percentage.
