Baker Named To Verizon Academic All-District VI Second-Team

RUSTON - Chris Baker, a member of the Louisiana Tech golf team, was selected to the Verizon Academic All-District VI second-team Tuesday.
Baker, a junior from Shreveport, La., led the Bulldog golf program, both on and off the field this season. He was first on the team with a 76.4 scoring average this past season, while finishing in the top 20 at three different tournaments.
Baker also topped the team academically, finishing the year with a 3.882 grade point average while majoring in Biology (Pre-Med).
