RUSTON - The Louisiana Tech Athletic Department has organized Spring Fest 2003 for Saturday, April 12.

Spring Fest 2003 will consist of Tech baseball, softball and football.

The day begins with the Bulldog baseball team hosting Hawaii at J.C. Love Field at 1 p.m. while the Lady Techster softball team also hosts a doubleheader against San Jose at 1 p.m. at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.

Head coach Jack Bicknell's Bulldogs will conduct their annual spring game at Joe Aillet Stadium at 5 p.m.

For $10, Tech fans can purchase a ticket that can be redeemed at any of the three events for five pounds of crawfish, potatoes and corn provided by Jefferson Corner. Ronny Walker, Executive Director for Athletic Advancement, said he urges all Tech fans to purchase their tickets for the crawfish in advance at the Tech Athletic Department, Jefferson Corner, the Marbury Alumni Center, Bank One, Ruston Building and Loan and any Community Trust Bank office.

All proceeds from the sale of the crawfish dinner will be donated to CHAMPS, Louisiana Tech's athletic fundraising program, by Jefferson Corner.
