Lady Techster softball (16-40, 6-12) dropped both ends of a Friday night doubleheader at WAC foe Fresno State by scores of 9-0 and 2-0.

The Bulldogs of Fresno State jumped out early in game one by scoring five runs in the second inning and eventually winning the contest due to the nine-run in the fifth inning, 9-0.

Marla Pinkston (11-18) got the loss throwing four innings and allowing nine runs with two strikeouts.

Brittany Stanley had the Lady Techsters only two hits as the sophomore left fielder went two for two with a stolen base.

Game two proved more competitive but Tech lost a close one in seven innings, 2-0.

Sabra Warner picked up the loss falling to 0-5 on the season.

Offensively, Tech managed one hit, a Jennifer LaRussa single in the first
inning.

The Lady Techsters play their last two games of the season with a doubleheader at San Jose State on Saturday.
