Tech/Miami Tickets on Sale Throughout North Louisiana
RUSTON - Tickets to the biggest home game in Louisiana Tech history are on sale at Brookshire's and Super One Foods stores throughout north Louisiana, including the Shreveport and Monroe areas.
The Bulldogs will host five-time national champion Miami Aug. 28 at Independence Stadium in Shreveport at 6:30 p.m. as the Hurricanes will be the highest ranked team to play in north Louisiana in the modern era.
Tech ticket manager Flo Miskelley said tickets for the nationally televised showdown on ESPN are going fast and that a sellout is possible.
Miami will be led by former Evangel High School prep star Brock Berlin, who has been named as the Hurricanes starting quarterback for the contest. Berlin, who was the national high school player of the year as a senior at Evangel, will face off against Louisiana Tech's high powered offense headlined by senior Luke McCown, who enters his senior season as the NCAA's active career passing yards leader.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Tech Ticket Office as well as the State Fair Box Office. For more ticket information, call the Tech Ticket Office at 318-257-3631.
