RUSTON, La. ? The 22nd ranked Lady Techsters play their first exhibition game on Monday at 6 p.m. in the first game of a basketball doubleheader for Louisiana Tech?s men and women?s basketball teams.

The Lady Techsters will take on the Basketball Travelers while the Bulldogs will face VASDA on Monday night.

The Bulldogs will play the nightcap at 8 p.m. in their final exhibition contest. The men defeated Ouachita Baptist, 83-74, last Monday as Paul Millsap placed the Bulldogs in with 23 points and 15 rebounds last Monday.

The Lady Techsters are battling through some preseason injuries and will be looking for some newcomers to step up to replace the departed Trina Frierson and Amisha Carter, both all-WAC selections a year ago.

The Lady Techsters will play one more exhibition game before opening the season on at Ole Miss on November 24th.

The Bulldogs open the season at the Louisiana Classic hosted by LSU on November 19th. Tech faces UL-Lafayette in its first game and then will play either LSU or Tulane on Sunday November 21st when the winners and losers of the first round games play.
