Louisiana Tech sophomore foward Paul Millsap has been named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association men's basketball Player of the Week for his efforts in the Bulldogs' lone game of the week.

Millsap is also the current Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

The 6-8, 243 forward scored 25 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and added three blocked shots as Louisiana Tech took a 58-57 home win over Southern Methodist last Saturday.

Millsap hit on 10-of-15 shots from the floor and 5-of-7 free throws to record his 11th double-double of the season and 32nd of his career.

This is the third LSWA Player of the Week award for Millsap this season. He was named named LSWA Player of the Week on Dec. 15 and Jan. 5, and was also a two-time LSWA Player of the Week last season.
