Men's Basketball Inks Three New Bulldogs
RUSTON, La. ? Louisiana Tech men?s basketball coach Keith Richard announced the signing of three players to National Letters of Intent Tuesday to bring the total number of incoming new Bulldogs to six.
Jerome Richardson of Frank Phillips College, Chad McKenzie of Los Angeles City College and Harry Disy of North Idaho College have signed on to become Bulldogs, joining early Fall signees Trey McDowell of San Jacinto College as well as Texas prep standouts Drew Washington of Clear Brook High School in Friendswood and Adrian Rogers of Mayde Creek High School in Houston.
?We have a great player returning in (junior forward) Paul Millsap,? Richard said. ?As long as he?s here we?re always one recruiting class away from having a really good team. We think we?ve taken a huge step in that direction with the addition of these three signees combined with the three players we signed in the fall. ?

Tech?s early period signees also turned in productive seasons as junior guard Trey McDowell (6-3, 175) averaged 20.4 points and 5.8 rebounds while leading San Jacinto to a 31-3 record and an East Texas JC Conference championship.
McDowell was named a 2004-05 second team NJCAA All-American as well as a first team All-East Texas JC Conference and first team All-NJCAA Region XIX selection.
